Can there be any doubt that many of the protesters have a sense of entitlement? If you want a burger, pay for it like the rest of us!

And we know he was part of OWS how? It's not like they are issuing ID cards that say: "Bob, OWS Member since...Tuesday."

It's frikken' NYC. That guy could have come from ANYWHERE!

And the original article quotes Mayor Bloomberg as saying that the OWS protesters were ejecting lawbreakers from the park. So now they are responsible for stuff that happens beyond the park?

Your defense of the indefensible has become tiresome. These are the people you support and defend. They've designated a specific section of tents as a "rape free zone." If you think these folks are pillars of the community, I think you are sadly mistaken.

I don't know who the McDonald's guy was and neither do you. So to connect him with anything in a city of millions is pretty random.

They've designated a specific section of tents as a "rape free zone."

If you are going to spout "factoids" like that, you need to cite a source. Otherwise, it is you just making up stuff to support your nonexistent argument.

If you follow the links in the seed, you wil learn that it was NYPD who ID'd the guy as an OWS protester.

The person arrested wasn't in the suburbs and he was identified by the police as attending the protest. The police usually don't bother random people picked out of "millions." Your "factoids" must be from some other place.

hhabilis,, #1.4;

... it was NYPD who ID'd the guy as an OWS protester.

Are you saying the NYPD don't know how to ask questions?

Or are you trying to imply that because it was the NYPD it's a lie?

Either is inane.

Uh, no, Anthony. I was informing douglasq of the source of the ID, since he seemed to think Creep was just assuming the perp was an OWSer. You might want to check on the size of that chip on your shoulder. It seems to be causing you to read what isn't there.

Read the story again. There is nothing that says the police identified him as an OWS protester. The author of the article makes the claim without any attribution.

Sorry for the mis-read! I guess its just so many contrarians haunt the Vine to argue I don't always tell the difference. I try to be specific but,

"When they stop making pencils with erasers, I'll be in deep doodoo."

All of them should be rounded up and put on a plane to Greece or maybe North Korea.

Seriously. They don’t deserve to be in this country.

I'm sure there may be a few level-headed protesters in their midst, but I haven't seen very many.

Watch the video, which is part of the seeded article, douglasq. The same video also appears on the page linked immediately below the video's location in the seeded article. First: that link is attribution; second: the video clearly cites the NYPD as the source of the ID. Just how lazy are you, anyway?

Yeah, I know the name of that tune, Anthony! Peace, brother.

Their "plan" is to create anarchy. I can get behind 'bank transfer day,' but I'm not going to support blatant thuggery and lawlessness.

I can get behind 'bank transfer day, ...

I can't see it for myself. It would be inconvenient and cost me money.

I live on Social in-Security and my bank has a cash machine in the hospital/medical center where I go too often. The charges for non-bank withdrawls would mean several snacks at the gift shop or a better cup of coffee, or a cafeteria meal.

Whatever works for you, Anthony. I have several credit unions in the area that provide debit cards with no transaction fees.

Grim, #2.3

I've been charged by both ends of the transaction. By the bank/owner of the ATM and my bank for using a "foreign" ATM. A credit Union may not charge you but the issueing ATM will.

Hey the McDonalds food has been declared off limits by liberals. So what's the bug fuss? McDonalds is an evil corporation and the McDonald food is lethal. In essence McDonalds supported the liberal credo. He would have more legitamate outrage ii he demanded tofu from a food shelter.

Noticed in our area all the mcds are getting makeover. Which do you think because they got an insurance waiver or because they got an obama bailout too?

To ensure that companies from General Electric (GE) to McDonald's (MCD) could sell commercial paper, the Treasury Dept. temporarily guaranteed money funds against additional defaults, and the Federal Reserve opened two programs to buy commercial paper directly from issuers and funds.

Maybe the ows figures it is now an entitlement.

OWS wants 100% nanny care. They want everything and be resposible for nothing. They should all move to a country that believes in that kind of control, like maybe N. Korea.

Did any one of these OWSers ever stop to think that perhaps it is their own attitudes that have kept them out of the work place? Giving snarky answers, showing up for an interview late, improper usage of the English language, wearing clothing that is completely inappropriate in a business setting...these are all things that can potentially destroy your chance of getting that job.

Some of these kids simply need to grow up and stand on their own two feet.
